Features and Washing Requirements of Washed Silk Fabric :
1. Washed silk is woven from protein-based delicate health-care fibers. It is not advisable to rub on rough items and wash them in a washing machine. Immerse the clothes in cold water for 5-10 minutes, and use special silk detergent to synthesize low-foaming washing powder or neutral. Gently rub with soap (if you are washing small fabrics such as silk scarves, it is recommended to use a better shampoo), and the colored silk clothing can be rinsed repeatedly in clean water.
2. Silk fiber is the only natural filament fiber that has been practically used, which is coagulated by silkworm-modified mucus. There are many kinds of silk fibers due to the different feeding habits of silkworms, including mulberry silk fibers formed by eating mulberry leaves, tussah silk fibers formed by eating tussah leaves, and other wild silk fibers formed by eating cassava leaves, mulberry leaves, and castor leaves. Mulberry silk fiber and tussah silk fiber can retain the shape of filament fiber in the filament yarn formed by bunching, and other kinds of wild silk fiber can only be modified into short fiber for textile processing. Among the filament yarns formed by bundling mulberry silk fibers and tussah silk fibers, the filament yarns of mulberry silk fibers are the most important, accounting for most of the natural filament yarns.
